This Colonial style hotel was originally built by the second governor of Ceylon, Sir Maitland. This hotel has an air of romance about it and its idyllic setting by the Indian Ocean enhances its romantic atmosphere. The poolside terrace has some amazing views of Colombo’s skyline and sandy beaches. The hotel also has its own private paradise beach and a fantastic seafood restaurant situated on the beach itself.
