OK... not brilliant. Preferred the Galle Face Hotel better. Rooms are a bit shabby but they have great views overlooking the ocean if you get one. Pools a little small for a hotel of its size and you don't get any sun after 3pm poolside as the hotel blocks it!! Not the best value for money. I think they are playing off the Taj's reputation from the rest of Asia.
