 The Tea Factory Description
This hotel, as the name suggests was once a tea factory and has recently been converted into a luxury hotel. The exterior and even some parts of the interior still retain its earlier character. The hotel is located among acres and acres of tea bushes and the hotel also has its own mini tea factory where one can process tea plucked from the Heathersett estate.

The hotel is situated close to Nuwara Eliya in Kandapola which is the Central Province of Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya is the tea capital of Sri Lanka and is surrounded by tea estates. A day trip to Horton Plains can be done from here.
